Ways to insure a home against theft

 A big headache is the discovery of new ways and applications in securing the home from would-be intruders who aim to steal.

I will mention some of the thousands of ways (the most accessible for a citizen)

according to my personal experience.

1) Way is good lighting. Burglars prefer darkness in terms of mode of action. Therefore good lighting in places that even we would consider unlikely for an invasion. Also, photocell lighting works extremely suddenly.

2) Way is the alarm.

Here he wants attention, not an alarm that shows the siren box to the public but in a hidden place not perceived that there is an alarm.

Many believe that if the alarm sounds it is a means of deterrence.

My opinion and experience have shown the opposite, because very simply, if the alarm sounds, you prepare the burglar for the way he will handle it until it is turned off and destroyed.

The essential role of the alarm is to surprise the intruder through the noise that it entails by removing it.

3) Irons on the windows.

4) If possible a dog at home always helps in such situations because he has increased the sense of perception by recognizing easily and quickly something foreign as well as the effort he makes to get rid of it.

5) The cameras. Here we could say that some of them are in a prominent place because their purpose is first prevention and then revelation.

One trick when we are inside is to show signs of presence, for example an open light. It would also help the security bar that is caught in the handle of the front door, in combination with the counter that holds the door, it is terribly impossible for someone to enter illegally at least from the main entrance.

Finally, we constantly draw our attention to the entrances of the doors, especially if we are in an apartment building, because if they have targeted our house, maybe we will find a small sign and we will prevent it at the last minute.
